Resilient Rowing Club prides itself on teaching the highest quality of rowing technique to rowers of all ages and experience levels. We currently offer two week learn to row camps at Sandy Run Rowing Facility on the beautiful Occoquan Reservoir. This introductory class is designed for youth ages 13 through 18 who are interested in getting a start with the sport of rowing. Each practice will introduce new rowers & coxswains fundamental boat-handling and rowing technique skills as well as the general basics of the sport. Graduates of this class can move into Resilient Rowing Club's Developmental Team or join their high school's novice program. The cost is $250 for the 2 week session and includes 13 practices. Still Water Rowing Club (SWRC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides the community with a complete youth rowing program. SWRC offers participants from 7th grade through high school positive learning and team experiences along with the opportunity to create life-long memories. SWRC is becoming a premier provider of youth rowing experiences, and seeks to make this experience affordable and available for all interested participants. We do this through strategic partnerships with local high school organizations and other neighboring clubs. SWRC offers summer and fall youth rowing programs.
