Rowing is an expensive sport: each ‘shell’ or boat can cost $40,000 to $60,000, oars are nearly $500 each, and rowing machines cost $1,000 each.

Our team is self-funded, meaning that it does not receive any funding from Robinson Secondary School. or Fairfax County Public Schools. All costs including coaches’ salaries and boat maintenance come from individuals, fundraisers, and sponsorships.
